We went to the zoo this past weekend. Pookie had so much fun! She LOVES animals and going to the zoo was so exciting for her. Her favorites were the giraffes (which she ended up getting a stuffed animal of that she now sleeps with), goats at the petting zoo, and feeding the Loarkeets (beautifully colored birds). She has talked about the zoo non stop since we left. She can't wait to go back again. Our zoo is still pretty new and small, so hopefully we will be able to take her to the Atlanta zoo some time this summer. She'll love that!
Pookiesdad's sister has been in town the past couple of days and Pookie was so excited to see her again! She absolutely adores her. Hopefully late this summer we'll be able to go down to Atlanta and visit with her and the rest of her family again.
Pookie had a great Easter. She got to dye Easter eggs for the first time this year. She had an egg hunt at daycare and another at my grandparent's church. She loves hunting for eggs! She did great and found most of the eggs on her own. She got two Easter baskets full of stuff and a sand and water table. I can't wait to set that up and let her play with it. I know she'll love it. She looked adorable in her Easter dress. Our neighbor's were putting it in a yard sale and they sold it to us for $15. Their daughter only wore it once or twice and it orginally cost over $50. It was just adorable and was a little big, so she should be able to wear it again next year.

Imaginations
The consignment sale went great! I found some cool toys for Pookie and lots of clothes. I think I am pretty much finished buying clothes for her for spring/summer now. That makes me happy!
Pookie was drawing the other night and she kept saying "I'm using my imaginations." I thought it was too cute!
