Pet Peeve
Ok, if you are sending out an invitation, particularly a wedding invitation, please make sure it is legible. I mean, dark brown sparkly paper with gold writing....not a good choice. You can't even see the words. And then the matching RSVP card...how am I supposed to write on that? Black, blue, red...nothing shows up. Think people! Ok, sorry I'm off my soapbox now. Thanks for listening to my rant. ;)

La Vida Loca
Hee! Couldn't resist using that title! Things are getting crazy here once again. Amy's gymnastics is keeping us busy on Saturday and we're starting to go back to church, which keeps us busy on Sunday. Steve's brother Darryl just got a job here and has moved down from St. Louis. Unfortunately, Kim and the kids can't come until they sell the house. So, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers and hope they can all move down here really soon! And to top it off, Darryl's truck broke, so he's driving our car. Let's keep our fingers crossed that he doesn't have any problems with it. He shouldn't cause it's a pretty good car, but I'm always thinking it's on the brink of having problems. Guess that's just my worrisome nature coming out.
Before you know it, it'll be Halloween and then Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Time goes by way too fast! Amy is moving up to the next class at her daycare. She really loves her teachers and will be sad to leave them, but she likes the teachers in her new class too, so that will help. Plus several of her buddies are moving up with her, so that's good.
Thought I'd post a pic of Amy at gymnastics. It's not the best pic in the world cause I took it on my cell phone, but I think it's really cute. I actually managed to get her hair to stay in a pony tail and it did really well!

4 Month Check Up
I can't believe it's been four months since Becca was born, a little over 4 months actually!! Crazy how time flies!! She went for her 4 month appointment yesterday afternoon. Becca weighs 14lbs and 13oz and is 25 3/4 inches long. I looked at Amy's baby book and that's 1/4 inch shorter and 10 oz heavier than she was at that same age. Amy wasn't a very good eater though and Becca is, so the heavier part doesn't surprise me. They are in pretty much the same percentages though, so all is well. Hee! This was our last visit with Dr. Morad before she leaves for her new job, so when we set up Amy's 4 year and Becca's 6 month appointment, which we're going to be able to do at the same time :) , we had to choose a new doctor. So, next time the girls will be seeing Dr. Libby, who Becca has actually seen once. Can't wait to see how it goes.
Amy looked so much like my baby pictures when she was little and when Becca was born she looked just like Amy. But now, she's looking more and more like her Daddy. Ahh...my little thumb sucker. LOL

Shopping!!
Well, the consignment sale was a huge success!! We bought a ton of clothes for both girls, rain boots and sneakers for Amy, a sit and spin, Princess Magic Mirror, Care Bear Merry Go Round, baby seat, baby Leap Frog activity center, and Goodnight Moon matching game. Hopefully their fall and winter wardrobes are now taken care of.
Amy had a wonderful time playing with Nana and Poppy and Becca slept through most of the sale itself. I'll find out next week how much money I made. Hopefully it will be enough to pay for what I spent. That would be wonderful if it is!!
Becca has a doctor appointment tomorrow. It's just a regular check-up, but her pediatrician is leaving in December, so we need to talk to her about our options after she leaves. I can't remember when Amy started eating baby food, but I hope Becca will get to start after this appointment. She is eating cereal twice a day already and doing great with it. I think she's ready to start on more.

Pic Test
Buying Clothes
Now, I don't really like to shop for clothes for myself, but I could look at clothes for the girls all day. Wierd how that works, huh? Today is the bi-annual children's consignment sale where my parents live. Steve, myself, and the girls are leaving work/daycare early, dropping Steve off at home, and heading East. It's only about an hour drive from our house, so that's not too bad.
I'm putting a lot of stuff in the sale, so I should make close to what I'll spend. That's a good thing! :D Plus some of Amy's old stuff will work for Becca. Hopefully we'll find everything we need.
On another note, Becca just got over her first ear infection. I hate those things! She's taking her medicine like a pro though.
