Happy Halloween!

So, Amy wanted me and Steve to dress up for Halloween too. Scary isn't it? ;) We did some pre-Halloween trick-or-treating where my family lives. The girls had a good time. Amy had a blast going from house to house. She can't wait to do more here on Wednesday night.

Tumble Bears

Amy had her first gymnastics "recital" on Saturday. It was called Tumble Bear Hoedown. Thought we'd share a little bit of video. :)

This-N-That

I was checking out various blogs and webpages this afternoon and saw that I wasn't the only one to put up some Halloween decorations this weekend. We haven't gotten out much this year, but we did pull out a few things from the closet. My Mom's friend got her a really cool Frog Witch windsock and she's letting us use it. Amy and I also made a gingerbread haunted house today. It's from one of those cheesy little kits, but she had a blast making it. And I couldn't make gingerbread if I had to, so...

Our fridge sadly went out the other weekend. We ended up having to replace it, but I think I like the new one just as well. It's already covered in pictures and magnets, just like the old one, so it fits in well. LOL

Becca is eating baby foods now. She started with green beans and has also added peas, carrots, and squash. She is trying to scoot some on her tummy in the floor and can roll from her tummy to her back.

Amy went to her friend Aedan's birthday party and had a blast! Before you know it, it will be time for her's. Anyone who knows me really well knows that I love the TV show Lost (which won't be back until February, GRRRR!). I also love CSI: NY and CSI: Vegas, but recently I have added a new favorite #2. Fall premires started and I didn't see much that interested me, but one show stuck out from the rest, CBS's Friday night show Moonlight. I decided what the heck and tuned in for the first week. I've been totally hooked ever since then. If you haven't checked it out yet, you should give it a try. I'm really enjoying it. :)

Halloween, Birthday Parties, Gymnastics, and Weddings

October is going to be yet another busy month. First, we have Amy's gymnastics program on the 20th where she will be on display for everyone to see. LOL For the younger kids, they turn the place into an obstacle course and let the kids run it while the parents watch, videotape, etc. Then at the end, they give them awards. Later that same day, we have a wedding to go to.

The following weekend is Amy's friend Aedan's birthday party at the jump place. Amy can't wait! It's this big warehouse like place full of jump-on inflatables. Yeah, Amy's going to have a blast! :)

And then of course, at the end of the month, there is Halloween. Amy is going as Belle from Beauty and the Beast and Becca is going to be a Pea Pod or as Amy says Green Bean. ;) Which reminds me, if I'm going to get any Halloween decorations up, I better get them up very soon.
