Congratulations to the Spence's!!

Our friends Rachel and James just had their new baby girl Alaina Claire this morning. We're going to see her tonight after we get out of work. Amy is so excited! She can't wait to see Rachel, their boys, and the new baby. Sorry James, she still hasn't gotten quite as attached to you. ;) She even wore a dress today because she said she had to look fancy to go see the new baby. She was ready to pack a bag and go stay in the hospital with them. LOL She wanted to take toys to play with Jake and Will. Hee! I had to tell her we wouldn't be there long enough to stay and play. I can't wait to go see them!! I'll add more once we've seen her. If you'd like to see a picture of her, you can go over to their blog http://spencehouse.blogspot.com/2007/12/introducing.html and check her out. She looks like a little angel! Can't wait to hold her!! Congrats again guys!!

Thanksgiving and Pre-Christmas

Ok, so where do we start? The last thing I posted about was Amy's birthday. So, next would be Thanksgiving. We had a nice Thanksgiving with my family. Lots of good food and we even got to spend a child free day in Huntsville, AL, shopping and hanging out, just Mommy and Daddy. :D

We even got to go see an "adult" movie. No, not that kind of movie. LOL We went to see "Hitman" which I was dying to see because my favorite actor Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond on Lost) had a part in it. I'm usually not all that big on spy/shoot em up movies, but I really liked this one. I thought Hitman was about an 8 - 8.5 and it was totally worth seeing for Ian's part. He was a Russian mobster and was actually quite funny. Personally, I thought he was the most memorable villan in the movie if not most memorable character. He was an awesome, slimey, Russian mobster. LOL Ok, enough about that. Heh!

Amy found an abandoned barn kitten at Mom and Dad's house and we began taking care of it. Surprisingly enough, it has survived and is still there. Mimi has been feeding it and bringing it in every day, so hopefully it will be around for a while. Amy adores it!

Becca got sick shortly after Thanksgiving with a stomach virus and it worked it's way through the house. Unfortunately we all got it. Blech! We got to meet up with our friends Rachel and James and their kids for an early Christmas at McDonald's. Of course none of us had our cameras, but we had a really nice time and the kids had a blast playing on the equipment. Amy and Jake play really well together. And Will hangs in there too. I can't wait for Becca to get a little older. The kids swapped Christmas gifts, ate, and played. So glad we got the chance to hang out for a bit before their new baby comes and things get even crazier for them I'm sure.

Becca now has two teeth and is sitting up all by herself. Amy is all about Hannah Montana right now and has even asked Santa for a Hannah Montanna doll. Speaking of Santa, the girls got to go see him Friday night and they did great. Both girls were happy and smiling. Amy gave Santa a huge hug and told him what she and Becca want for Christmas.

Ok, I think that's all for now! Hope everyone is having a great Holiday Season!!
